The Sustainable City partnered with Sundeck Studio to design and build a modern high performance digital presence for the the brand, it's cities and the residents.
The Sustainable City is the flagship community of SEE Holding, built in Dubai and now a blueprint being repeated elsewhere. Sundeck Studio designed and built the brand website, migrated it off WordPress and legacy systems, and has worked with SEE Holding for three years since.
Most of this is invisible to visitors, which is exactly why most agencies skip it.
The new site runs on servers powered entirely by renewable energy, and scores ~+92% on core web vitals. Efficient to load, efficient to run. The medium makes the same argument as the message.
The old site sat on multiple legacy systems that couldn't carry the brand or the performance it needed. We migrated it and rebuilt in twelve weeks.
The design had two readers to satisfy: residents and buyers deciding where to live, and the wider industry watching a model it might adopt. The answer was restraint rather than decoration. A place this considered in the physical world shouldn't arrive online shouting.
The Sustainable City isn't one place any more. The brand website is the front door, and it connects to individual city sites as the model is repeated in new locations. We are building those too, so each new city launches into a system rather than starting over.
Ongoing SEO work took organic traffic up 40% and AI search visibility up 300%. The site now ranks first for its core terms across Dubai and the wider Middle East, including searches for sustainable cities generally rather than the brand by name.
That last part matters more than the brand rankings. Someone searching for a sustainable city isn't looking for The Sustainable City yet. They are now.
